After scanning the propeller it is possible to create a CAD model
The 3D CAD model can then be generated. Several millions elements are used to mesh the propeller

From the 3D model it is possible to create a mesh where the propeller is divided into several elements that can be calculated.
The air around the propellers are also meshed
From this it is possible to simulate the air around the propellers and the drone. The air speed can then be visualized and results can be seen
Slow motion movies of the drone flying in smoke were used to compare the studies.
We also did advanced measuring studies using transversing hot wires. But these results I can not share.
